Home and Family in Sierra Leone
My name is Lamin Kargbo, I live at 22 upper Grassama street wellington. I was born on the 28 December at Mafullah Village. I am a Muslim by religion. I start attending school and my first primary school was (R. F. C) Primary Schoolin musorie Village. I later further my education in Freetown Sierra Leone where I sat my NPSE at Ahmadiyya Muslim Junior School
That time it was 2006 and I further my education at the same Ahmadiyya Muslim Junior Secondary School kissy dockyard and I sat my Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) at the same school in Freetown in 2010.
From that time I could not be able to further my education because I did not have the financial support to continue my education. I later lost my mother and my father I mean they are dead. Since 2010 I become a drop out at school.
I started finding my daily bread for my self; right now life is very difficult for me. Sometime I make dirty blocks for people before I can earn to eat and many odd jobs.
I thank God for giving Mr. Mendy Kanu our Founder the idea to bring up this initiative in our community.
My hobbies I like more is playing football, reading.

Hello Friends,
My name is Marie Dumbuya, I born on the 21st January. My mother name is Adama Samura and my father name is Pa Dauda Dumbuya, I live in Koya Town Wellington. I attend the Koya Government School.
From that time up to this time I was in a place of suffering a lot because my mother and father was poor farmers who did not earn money to buy even tools for their farming work because of that their was no money to pay my school fees, but with all that me and my mother will go to the farm and make a garden for short time like cassava leaves, potato leaves etc. After that my mother pick them and give them to me to go and sell at local market so to pay my school fees and get some little schooling materials.
I suffer a lot because there is no lunch to eat at school unless my friends have to give me lunch to eat. For us the poor ones in Sierra Leone we don’t have the facility that can encourage us at school and our daily lives.
My hobbies are farming, balance ball, reading.

Samuel. A Kamara Story
My name is Samuel, I am 15 years old, and I am dark in complexion. My whole life has being like a struggle jungle for me that I can’t even remember again much, but I can talk where I can remember for now. I currently stay at Sorie Town Freetown, very close to wellington. I born and grow up in Marampa chiefdom at Lunsar, where we don’t have much houses and we fortunate to see car when passing and go to big towns to drop people. I am a Temne by tribe. When I was in the village I usually farm and grew up plant like Cassava/leaves, Potatoes/leaves, and Krain-krain etc. I don’t fortunate to attend school in my village, because my mother don’t even value Education, I lost my father when I was at 6 years… So all we where busy is at farming, come home cook, eat and sleep. Then ready the next day again for farming, I don’t even remember that they have told me that I will one day attend school. So I myself don’t even know how education is important, because my family don’t know too.
Samuel A. Kamara aka D Pa
Early 2010 my uncle who has live in Freetown for years visit us in the village and promise to take me to Freetown, it a surprise for me that he can fulfilled his promise. My uncle name is Orlamin. Then I was taken to Freetown, my uncle live in a small room in Freetown, so both of us live together. He was not marriage.
I love my uncle so much; he was very kind, He also make an admission for me in one government school in Freetown to get some basic education and be some body useful in the future. I was very happy to hear that, my first day to school I was very upset and unhappy, nobody to interact with. But I cope up and still continue going, although it was not easy for me, because sometime when going to school no food and I have to work for some distance to reach the school.
My uncle can’t earn much money to run the house, he is a local carpenter run his work in a small corner. So I decided to go out and look for something to do to earn money. The only work I fortunate to get was to break stone and sell to earn money, so I was busy doing it time to time when one day a wonderful man called Mr. Mendy Kanu who was searching around moving from place to places to get details to more deprived kids come across to know me. I explain my story to him and felt sad for me and told me that he is trying putting up a technology school and he will like me to be part of it when it finish, Am very much happy for that.. Mr. Kanu still continue to visit where I break the stone, he also promise and get some details to other deprived kids who also break stone too in the same place where I break stone. Mr. Kanu was so much kind that can even help me with little coins of money that I can put in my pocket to eat.
There ends my stories, my message for people out there is for them to join hand with Mr. Kanu to make this Computer school be a success more, so we the deprived kids can be some body useful in a society.

Home and Family in America
My name is Hailey and this is how I get ready for school. First, my mom wakes me up for school. I live with mom and dad. I do not have any siblings. When I wake up I get ready for school by getting dressed, brushing my teeth, hair and the usual things. Once I’m ready, my mom drives me to school and I get there around 7:30 am. I get home around 2:55 pm. My house is a one story and it is quite small to me. I have a huge backyard and a pool. My pool is filled with water to go swimming in the summer. When I get home I usually just relax by going on the internet, texting my friends or reading. Also I do homework, which we usually don't have a lot in 7th grade. Usually I have a show on TV that I want to watch also. Our TV’s are like big computers that shows programs or videos on it that everyone sees if they have one. Everyone pretty much has a TV that they watch shows at a certain time. I watch maybe 5 shows that come on at a certain day at a certain time and they are new. Also, in the summer when its hot/warm I usually have softball practice after school. Softball is like baseball, but just for girls. I usually play left field which is behind 3rd base.
My name is Morgan Donithan and this is how I get ready for school. I start out by my mom waking me up around 6:00 am. I then get out of bed and brush my teeth and hair. Then, I get dressed and pack my book bag for school. I then decide to talk to my mom and dad how the day is going to play along and different things. I live with my mom, dad and have a sister but she is at collage. After I am ready, my mom and I head for school (my mom works in the cafeteria at our school). When I arrive at the school I usually do homework or play on my phone. After a day of school i usually have to stay after and do sports. I play softball, basketball, and volleyball. I then go home and eat dinner, then take a relaxing shower, and head to bed. That is my long day!
My name is Nick and this is how I get ready for school. I wake up by an alarm, I get dressed, and brush my teeth. Then, I get on the bus and go to school. I do my homework when i get home. Then, I watch TV and play video games before I go to sleep. We have several other classes in school including History, Language Arts, Science, and Tech. We get out of school at 2:35. A bus comes and drops us back off at home. We sometimes have to do homework and return it to school the next day.
My name is Kaitlyn and this is how I get ready for school. First, in the morning, my aunt wakes me up. I live with my aunt, my grandma, and my cousin. Then I get dressed, I put on usually a hoodie, jeans, and converse. A bus comes to my house and picks me up. My house is two and a half stories tall and it has woods and a barn behind it. It also has a big deck. A bus is a big yellow vehicle that picks up many kids from their houses to take to school. I get to school at 7:30 am. After seven or so hours of school, the bus drops me back off at home. I usually go to my room and text my friends. Other days I may go outside and play baseball, jump on the trampoline or walk in the woods. I go to bed around midnight. Other days when I don't have school I might go to the mall or go to a friends house. Other times my friends and might go to the movies or go skating.
